Parents Day
Dear Parents,
The Management, teachers and students of JBM Global
School, Noida, welcomes you and your ward to our extended
family. Our intentions and goals are to train your wards
to be proud citizens of this country by contributing to
the rich traditions and forward looking approach. The
warmth of our mutual love, concern and regard will carry
us through happy and testing times together.
The Day-Boarding facilities have been enhanced and now,
children have much more space available for Day-Boarding.
Many other additions have been made which you could see
last time.
The Parent’s Day will be held on Saturday, May 9, from
9:30 a.m. The Home Curriculum for summer vacations will be
handed over to the parents on the same day.
Due to temperature rise & heat wave in the city, we shall
not be having Day-Boarding from Monday, May 4 onwards.
Hence the School Timings would be from 8:30 a.m. –
1:50p.m. till the school closes for the summer vacations.
On Saturday, your ward will report to school at 8:30 a.m.
as on any other day using the same mode of transport. So,
school bus will ply on Saturday, May 9, 2009.That day the
teachers need to have your wards with them from 8:30 a.m.
onwards to prepare them for stage performance starting at
10:00 a.m. So, Parents, Grandparents and friends are
invited to school at 9:30 a.m. at CPA.
Yours Sincerely

GOING BEYOND THE CLASSROOM
Dear Parents,
We are happy to inform you that wards have adjusted very
well with the surroundings of the school. The benefits of
learning through experience among children need no
reinforcement. Unless, children are shown the real world
they live in, they are unable to use their imagination to
paint a picture of the world purely through academic
description or portrayal. At JBM we strongly believe in
the concept of ‘teaching through experience’. It is with
this endeavour that we have rolled out a programme called
‘Going beyond the classroom’.
GOING BEYOND THE CLASSROOM
‘Going beyond the classroom’, involves visiting places of
interest as a group. In the first phase we will be taking
your ward to places in and around Delhi.
Please take note of the following :-
The first educational trip for the session 2009-10 is
scheduled for National Science Museum, Delhi on 30th April
,2009.
The School Transport will ply as on any other days: and
bring children to school. Other children who report to
school on their own will be asked to do so as of any other
day. Thus, school will be the starting point for this
school outing. After the visit, the school transport will
bring children to school and report by or before 1:50 p.m.
From the school premises, children will leave by their
respective modes of transport as used by them on any other
working day: and will report to their Bus Stop for
reaching home at the same time as on any other day. School
Teachers will accompany the school children for this
school outing.
Though the school will be serving refreshments to the
wards yet parents are advised to send dry lunch and a
water bottle with their child. Rs 150/- will be charged
per child for this school outing This amount will be
collected along with the fees of the next quarter.
Students will report for the school outing wearing school
uniform.
We are sure, our students will enjoy this school outing as
much as you would when your darling son/daughter share
with you the joys of the outing.
Yours Sincerely

HOW TO PACK A
NUTRITIOUS LUNCH
It is important
to balance nutritious food with good taste.
1. Parents want children to learn healthy eating patterns
early in life. In Planning lunches that will satisfy both
parents and kids, the key is to find good tasting foods
that are nutritious and fun for kids to eat. Here are some
suggestions:-
a) kid friendly fruits and vegetables. Make sure to pack
fresh fruit that your child likes and that is early to
eat.
b) Get children involved in their lunch food choices.
Children feel good when they have a say in what goes into
the lunch box.
c) Make your child feel special by adding personal
touches. Use cookie cutter to cut sandwiches into various
shapes.
d) Pack little notes or cartoons into their lunch boxes.
e) Surprise your child with a little gift such as funny
pencils, erasers or stickers.
Note- kindly send fork and spoon along with the lunch
box. |
